Looking for a quirky brooch that says something about the personality and interests of the wearer? Then look no further!
This pin is perfect for any book lover and in particular any lover of the novels of Jane Austen. This origami brooch makes for a very romantic gift and would be perfect for a first anniversary present (paper anniversary). The recycled paper used to fold the rose has been taken from a copy of Pride and Prejudice which is one of the most famous love stories of all time. Roses themselves are a romantic flower and the brooch setting features a pair of doves kissing. Together this makes it the most romantic piece of jewellery in my range and a perfect romantic gift.
The rose and leaves have been hand folded using traditional origami methods and then varnished before being set on the vintage style brooch base.

The rose has been given several coats of varnish to add strength, durability and water resistance.
The antique silver tone brooch base measures 3.5 x 2.5 cm.
The brooch comes in a paper envelope tied around with jute.
The jewellery will come with an authenticity card to guarantee the book used.
Made by recycling old book pages and plastic free - including the packaging.
