Full description
I paint in my studio outside London (my kitchen in reality). I am inspired by the beautiful places I have lived in and visited. Over the last 20 years, I am lucky enough to have been posted across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The inspiration for much of my work comes from this period of my life. This painting is a view of the beautiful Langdale Valley in the Lake District (Cumbria). The blue tones reflect the soft early evening light of a summer evening walk with my dog Timmy. The painting ships framed, and is 7x5 inches in size.
