Full description
One for the dog lovers!
Handmade using the lost wax casting method. I carefully carved this bulldog's face from wax and had it cast in sterling silver.
He attaches to the necklace by the crown on his head, of course! He's an oversized, chunky charm on a beautiful silver belcher chain.
Post cast I spent many hours texturing his fur using the ancient Japanese method of Chokin (hammering and engraving with hammers and fine chisels) to create the impression of fur.

Please note that he is hollow at the back, otherwise the weight would be uncomfortable. (Last picture)
