A sample book just full of fabric gorgeousness. To covet as a keepsake, or take apart and use for your own creativity.
The front cover is an antique French linen with a stamped label, mounted on vintage fabric. The bound edge is trimmed with six vintage pearl buttons, stitched on with a coordinating stranded cotton embroidery thread..
The back cover is vintage wool blanket.
Inside the fabric covers are pages of vintage and antique fabrics interspersed with antique lace, 10 pages plus pieces of antique lace trims, including a square lace doily just inside the front cover. This has been attached with a small running stitch, which can easily be taken out if you wanted to use the lace doily on its own.
Please note that all the fabrics are vintage or antique, and may show signs of wear, commensurate with their age. Please do not purchase if you like your vintage fabrics to be perfect.
The book measures approx 20cm x 16cm.
