Full description
Fused glass seascape panel featuring a rocky shoreline in the foreground, leading down to a sandy beach, streaked with seaweed, and then on to a foam-capped sea.
The panel has been created using two layers of glass to give a sense of depth, and decorated with coloured art glass powders, specialist glass enamels and pre-made glass nugget 'rocks' to build up the scene and give some texture. Several kiln firings were required to achieve the effect.
A lovely gift idea, perhaps as a memento of a special place, or why not just treat yourself.
The panel of glass measures 12cm x 6cm approx and is mounted in a grey frame measuring 23 x 17.5cm approx. It has both a stand and a hanger fixing on the back, so can be stood on a shelf or wall mounted.
