Full description
Fused glass panel featuring a rocky shoreline with coloured grasses in the foreground, leading down to a sandy beach and then a tranquil azure sea.
The panel has been created using two layers of clear glass to give a sense of depth, and decorated with coloured art glass powders and glass stringers to build up the scene. Several kiln firings were required to achieve the effect. The foreground grasses are softly textured to give a pleasing tactile quality.
A lovely gift idea, or why not just treat yourself.
The panel of glass measures 12cm x 6.5cm approx and is mounted in a grey frame measuring 19 x 14cm approx. It has both a stand and a hanger fixing on the back, so can be stood on a shelf or wall mounted.
