Full description
My latest puppy is an English Springer Spaniel. He measures 15" (38cm) from his large brown nose to the start of his tail. Springers are in various colours but this rich dark brown is one of my favourites. Some of the shading especially on the face and the liver spots very common in this breed are all done by hand using a Swiss darning method.
He is knitted in a brushed wool yarn which is very light so to give a feel of weight I have added a pouch of pellets to the heavy stuffing in his tummy.
A lighter filling is used in the upper body to allow positioning.
The puppy wears a removable neck collar with a cute bowtie.
This puppy was made by me from a design by Claire Garland. A designer who creates the most realistic animals.
