One of my favourite things is searching in second hand shops and discovering items to rejuvenate with a sunflower makeover.
On a recent trip, I was very happy to find this beautiful glass jug made from thick, heavy glass.
I have hand painted it with vibrant yellow sunflowers, contrasting them with the lovely lavender blue of wild chicory. Colours of a beautiful summer's day.
Sunflowers remind us of warmth and optimism and wild chicory is a symbol of resilience, making this jug perfect as a gift given with meaning. Enjoy using it for summer cocktails, long cold drinks or just some plain and simple iced water. It could also be used as a beautiful vase or just to adorn a plain shelf.
Not just a piece of art, but a way of supporting sustainable gifting.
The jug is painted with acrylic paint which is cured to make it durable. To care for the jug, hand wash only and use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
