The yellow rose symbolises friendship, joy and warmth making it a versatile gift that is suitable for a close friend, a family member or someone who enjoys flowers. It makes a lovely gift for a golden wedding anniversary, birthdays or 'just because' gifts
The macrame rose has been made from 100% cotton bakers twine using my own design. Every knot has been tied by hand and each petal and leaf has been made individually before assembling together to create a beautiful hand crafted rose. Florists wire runs through the centre of the main stem and the leaf stems allowing for the rose to be gently manipulated into position.
The great advantages of textile flowers is that they are everlasting. They can be combined with flowers from a different season and they can be enjoyed all year round.
The macrame rose will look equally lovely as a single stem or as part of a larger bouquet and I have shown examples of how the rose may look in different displays.
The rose measures approx 27.5cm in height and about 7.5cm across the flower head.
To keep cost down to a minimum I will post using Royal Mail 2nd class delivery service.
