Full description
'Strutting his stuff' is an original, hand printed linocut, created using a unique hand carved SoftCut lino block, from my own original drawing. This image was inspired by a pheasant that visited our garden. They are such beautiful birds.
This item has been printed by me using Caligo safe wash relief ink in black onto 145gsm white Hereford paper using a vintage cast iron book press. I then hand paint the pheasant with watercolour and an acrylic medium to give an iridescent effect and the sun is painted using classic gold acrylic.
This is an open edition of prints which means I'll probably be printing more in the future. Titled and signed in pencil.
As each image is carefully printed and painted by hand there will be small differences, making each one unique.
The print comes mounted in an off white mount (acid free, whitecore, conservation level) with a white backing board.
Please note that a frame is NOT included.

Mount: 6" x 6" (approx. 15cm x 15cm)
This item will be wrapped in acid free, recycled tissue paper, covered in reused cardboard and posted by Royal Mail Tracked 48, in a board backed envelope to prevent damage.
