Full description
Hello and welcome to my shop! I am so incredibly proud to share this hand-drawn portrait print with you.
As a Sierra Leonean-British artist, my creative journey is deeply rooted in my dual heritage. With this sacred piece, I wanted to explore spiritual imagery by blending the bold, clean minimalism of contemporary Western illustration with the expressive, fluid lines and symbolic geometry found in traditional West African art forms."Emmanuel" translates to "God with us," and I designed this portrait to reflect a sense of calm, timeless protection, and deep spiritual presence. The powerful white linework creates a striking silhouette against a rich, earthy, and naturally textured dark background. I love working with these grounding, natural colors because they bring a serene, organic warmth into a home rather than feeling overly formal.
Every single line on this A3 paper has been meticulously hand-crafted using professional fine-ink pens and artist pencils. Because this is a true original artwork-not a digital creation-you can see and feel the authentic touch of the artist's hand in every stroke. It is a beautiful statement piece built to bring daily inspiration, comfort, and peaceful reflection into a living space, prayer corner, or bedroom gallery wall.
