All my jewellery listed here is sterling silver except for the silver plated upcycled cutlery collection. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings and bookmarks), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins, cutlery and pre-decimal coins and/or gemstones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.

Full description

A penguin handcut with a fine-bladed jeweller's saw, from a 1967 bronze penny coin. Measures 3cms across. Finished with a sterling silver chain, 16 or 18inch, you choose.

Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service in the UK. Care guide enclosed.

Upcycled in Lancashire

N.B. other dates could be available but will take longer to post in the first place, as I would have to start from scratch. 1967 is the last available date that I can use. This 1967 is available to despatch straightaway. Other dates before that may be available, it all depends if they were minted in the particular year, some years they were not produced.

FYI - The penny coin was made of bronze: 95% copper, 4% tin, 1% zinc. Bronze is used to commemorate the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.

Also FYI - It is legal to "deface the Queen's image" once the coin is no longer legal tender and I do have the license to do so anyway, as some people dispute the legality. All coins that I use are pre-decimal (pre-1971) and therefore no longer legal tender.
