Full description
These asymmetrical sterling silver earrings would make a very well received gift. As well as enhancing any outfit, they have an interesting making process; the silver nuggets at the base of each earring were creating by pouring molten silver over rock salt. This means each little rock is completely unique!
After the silver nuggets were created, they were soldered to shaped recycled sterling silver square wire. I shaped more square wire into ear studs and joined the shapes together. The earrings were finished by filing and polishing. The earrings have been designed by me and are part of a small collection of similar pieces.
I was inspired to create this collection after experimenting with organic casting, which resulted in creating unique little silver rock shapes.
The earrings will arrive in a black jewellery box, complete with simple care instructions and a small anti tarnish tab.
