Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

A little treasure full of colour, character and meaning, this handmade bag charm combines an eclectic mix of beads, symbolic charms and bohemian-inspired details.
The cascade of colourful beads includes glass, ceramic, wood and horn, complemented by a semi-precious Turquoise bead and a faceted Garnet. Pretty Tibetan-style metal spacers and bead caps add further texture and a touch of vintage-inspired charm.
At the heart of the design is a mother monkey with her baby riding on her back, perched on a tortoise. Inspired by Eastern philosophy, this unusual trio represents the balance of opposing forces: the lively, agile monkey symbolises the active Yang, while the tortoise represents the receptive Yin, with its stillness, longevity and wisdom. The baby monkey adds another layer of meaning, representing maternal love, care and devotion.
There are even more little symbols to discover. A tiny antique-gold-tone acorn is a reminder that great achievements can grow from the smallest beginnings, while a copper and verdigris spiral charm represents growth, change and transformation.
With its rich colours, varied textures and layers of symbolism, this is far more than an ordinary bag charm. It's a little collection of stories and meaningful symbols, designed to bring personality and a touch of boho spirit to your favourite bag.
The drop from the bottom of the clasp to the base of the tortoise measures approximately 9cm.
