Full description
An original Chicken painting in fiery, copper tones in a Folk Art style. This is an original acrylic painting of a golden Cockerel. He is based upon my Cockerel I had, as a child, named 'Penny'. I found him when out riding, he must have become separated from his mother, so I picked him up and put him in my pocket. We were convinced he was a little hen and so named him 'Penny'. On the day he attempted his first Cockle, we realised he was a boy. As he'd has his name a while, we felt we couldn't change it, so 'Penny' he remained. He was fiery by nature as well as colour and I loved him!
