I love this fabulous cafe style table with reclaimed metal legs.
This features repurposed black wrought iron frame legs made in a Victorian style with a solid 40mm oak top that is reclaimed from an old cottage kitchen. I have spent several days reworking the wood to a perfectly smooth finish but have still retained some of its aged character, such as the dark pits and dents written into its surface.
The wood has been treated with many coats of dark danish oil to bring out the grain fully, then polished with beeswax.
