Full description
A pair of unique, hand sculpted sentinel figures designed to guard the threshold.
These "Keepers of the Dead" are one of a kind mixed media sculptures, meticulously built around upcycled glass beer bottles. Each piece is hand sculpted without the use of molds, ensuring that every texture, bind, and detail is entirely unique.
The weathered, stone like finish is achieved through layered mixed media, giving the pieces an artifact like quality.
Both figures are intricately wrapped in cord and aged metal chains, symbolising their eternal duty as guardians.
Deep red crystalline eyes peer through the bindings, complemented by antique style keys and hardware charms.
At the heart of each sculpture is a repurposed glass bottle, blending sustainable practices with dark aesthetic art.
Whether displayed on a bookshelf, a gothic mantle, or as part of a curiosity cabinet, these silent sentinels bring a sense of mystery and protection to any space.
