Full description
This hand-turned pine bowl began as a simple piece of rough timber and was transformed through an experimental finishing process to create its distinctive appearance. To enhance the character of the wood, a layer of blue varnish was applied before the bowl was turned again on the lathe, revealing a unique blend of natural grain and vibrant colour.
The result is a striking decorative bowl where the soft tones of the pine contrast beautifully with the blue detailing, giving the piece depth, texture, and individuality. Both tactile and visually distinctive, it is a one-of-a-kind example of creative woodturning.
