Full description
A mixed media brooch, hand cut from a larger piece that incorporates a hand drawn Pink Gerbera Flower.The textures are created from printing leaves in blue, yellow and pink. The edges are painted for a distressed look. A light wood veneer is added to the back of the brooch and the front is coated in resin that is sanded to a glass like finish. The back and edges are varnished and sealed. I incorporate elements from my garden in all of my mixed media work.
