Full description
An addition to my chocolate brown Dachshund puppy is a Dapple. Same golden brown nose and paws but the addition of gorgeous dappled shades of grey and black. Also know as a Doxie this pup measures 14" (36cm) from her black nose to her tail (excluding the tail). Dachshunds are available in many colours so I used a number of shades for her dappled colour in alpaca and mohair yarn. Her ears and tail are made with a faux fur yarn. I have used a heavy weight stuffing in her tummy for some weight with a lighter weight for upper body to allow some positioning.
This puppy was made by me from a design by Claire Garland. A designer who creates the most realistic animals.
