I was inspired by the country side around me and the red fox that regulary visits my garden to drink out of the bird bath.
I love a bit of the magical and love the idea of fairies so i mixed the two together and made them friends, and came up with the idea of a fairy friends series.

Full description
This whimsical and enchanting original painting shows a red fox in the long grass happily being clapped by a wee fairy with blonde hair, white wings and green dress sitting on top of scottish thistles on a clear evening.
It is 10 inch by 10 inch square stretched canvass, painted using daler rowney acrylic paints.
This was part of a series of paintings I made called "fairy friends" which shows animals, birds, and insects that you would find where I live in scotland.
There are no prints available of this painting making this a one of a kind, bringing something magical to any room.
I use Royal Mail 2nd class tracked service for this item which is included in the price.
Your painting will be safely packaged in a pizza style box wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper with an outer layer of packing plastic and fragile stickers applied.
To care for your painting please keep out of direct and prolonged sunlight as this will bleach colours over a period of time.
I dont varnish my paintings on canvass or add hanging hooks as I feel varnish yellows and people prefer to choose their own hanging methods, however either can be done if requested please contact me if you would like this option.
