Listing is for one handmade A5 Hawthorn notebook - botanical hedgerow stationery.
This A5 spiral bound notebook features a Hawthorn botanical illustration, digitally developed from my own design idea and inspired by the delicate blossom that appears along British hedgerows in May often known as the 'May tree' . Traditionally associated with renewal, love, and transition from spring to summer.
My Dad, who worked on the land all his life and loved the countryside - would often quote the saying 'Cast ne'er a clout ere May is out' - a gentle reminder not to shed your winter layers too soon.
Part of my Hedgerow Collection, it has been designed with a soft, nature-inspired feel and is ideal for journaling, note-taking, or everyday lists - or as a thoughtful gift for someone who loves botanical stationery and the British countryside.
The inside includes lined pages for everyday writing, along with a beautifully designed opening page featuring the Hawthorn name and symbolism.
