Full description
A second life for your flowers.
This artwork is about keeping a memory alive. Whether it is a bouquet from a new home, a special anniversary, or a simple gift that meant a lot to you, I transform those petals into a unique floral mosaic.
I have been an artist since 2008, and I specialise in giving a permanent home to your most precious flowers. My background in jewelry and psychology allows me to treat every story with deep respect.
A dialogue between order and nature.
I have always loved geometric forms. I like it when everything is in its right place. Even when I try to fight my Cartesian side, it always comes back! For this piece, my big challenge was to take wild, organic material and fit it into a perfect, structured grid.
This project started with a beautiful bouquet. I deconstructed it to "tame" the natural curves of the flowers. You can find petals of roses, dark astrantia, lisianthus and delicate pittosporum leaves. Each element is now placed in its own square, surrounded by gold leaf. I really loved the process of creating this floral mosaic, and I plan to make a whole series based on this idea.
Size: 16x25 cm artwork in a 32x42 cm deep box frame.
Materials: Dried petals (Astrantia, Rose, Lisianthus) and Pittosporum leaves, birch, gold leaf, and eco-label acrylic paint for the background.
Glass: I used AR 92 anti-reflective glass. It is museum-quality and invisible, so you can see the contrast between the soft petals and the shiny gold lines perfectly.
Natural Evolution: This is a living piece. The organic petals will change color slowly over time, while the gold grid remains perfect. This is the beauty of nature meeting geometry.
Date: April 2026.
I hope Piet's Garden brings a sense of calm and balance to your home. It was made with a lot of patience and a love for symmetry.
