A Handmade Diz, created from coconut shell and highly finished and varnished. A timeless piece.
A diz is a small, handheld tool-typically a disc with one or more holes-used in fiber arts to draw fiber off combs or hackles, converting it into a smooth, consistent, and thin roving for easier drafting and spinning. It helps create dense, uniform rolags or combed tops, making it ideal for spinning or fibre prep.
These are handmade hole diameter is approx 1cm, for the ideal consistency and thickness. One in each order.
These are handmade in south Wales.
