Original artwork description:
This painting is a collaborative piece between Ksenia Kirsanova, a wonderfully talented photographer, and the professional ballerina at the Eifman Ballet Academy.
In my painting, I am drawn to the elegance and poise of a ballerina performing a quatri me devant, her graceful movements capturing the essence of classical ballet. With each brushstroke, I strive to convey the fluidity and precision of her technique, from the arch of her pointed toe to the graceful extension of her arms.
The ballerina is depicted in a blue dress, the fabric billowing around her as she executes the delicate steps of the dance. The vibrant hue of the dress contrasts beautifully with the soft, ethereal quality of her movements, adding a sense of drama and vitality to the scene.
Painting is unframed, painted on primed cotton canvas stretched over pine stretcher bars. It's painted with artist quality oil paints.
