Hand-painted Tawny Owl on a live edge piece of Oak wood.
I have tried to keep all the natural features of the wood including the bark as I really think it adds to the overall rustic look of this piece.
As this painting is 1 inch thick it can be free standing on a shelf but also has a brass hook on the back to allow for hanging.
These pieces of wood are reclaimed so may be irregular in shape.
Measuring: 7 inches (17 cm ) tall by 5 inches (12.5 cm) at its widest and 1 inch (2.5cm) deep.
If you're looking to add a piece of nature to your home or are a bird lover this piece would be perfect for you.
NOTE: These are for indoor use only , I have made some mock up pictures to show how it could possibly look like in your home.
I love to bring the beauty of natural wood alive.
By painting animals and birds on theses pieces of wood gives it a new purpose as most pieces would otherwise be thrown away.
