Full description
A unique birthday card with an owl and a sunset sky, a great way to send original birthday wishes. This detailed card has been handcrafted with quality art materials, it has a layered design, and a simple foiled birthday wishes sentiment. The card measures 14.5 x 14.5 cms and comes with a 100% recycled brown kraft paper envelope.
I created the sunset and sky with archival inks and brushes and stamped the owl with a Card-io stamp, in light and dark brown inks. I added lots of detail with black and brown fineliner pens and highlights with a white gel pen. I created the circular blue layer with a metal cutting-die. The base of the card is hand-cut from white recycled linen cardstock.
Delivery is by Royal Mail in a clear protective wrapper and a brown recyclable board-backed envelope. Please keep plastic card wrappers out of reach of young children.
