Donkeys...Where do I start? I've been creating prints of donkeys for quite a while now. They are a constant source of inspiration; their awkwardness, confusion, modesty and charm, to name a few things!

Full description
Two 2-colour screenprints entitled 'Donkey Abstract No.4' and 'Donkey Abstract No.5' printed in fluorescent pink and warm grey.
This is the fourth and fifth prints in a recent series taking the donkey landscapes in an event more abstract direction. For these two, I experimented with mark-making and the line between figurative and abstract composition. I created them both together, as I thought they would work well as a pair.
I like to champion donkeys in a lot of my artwork. They are rarely celebrated in art, so I feel like it is maybe my job to do so!
Fluorescent pink and warm grey inks, and fluorescent orange and warm grey inks on Antique White Seawhite 290gsm acid-free paper. From editions of 24, signed, titled and numbered.
The print images measure H19.2xW14.6cm.
Each piece of paper measures H21xW14.85cm
All prints will be posted unframed, flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
