This star was inspired by the moment the sky melts into warm peach, apricot, and rose — that fleeting glow just before the sun dips below the horizon. The glass itself carries those colours naturally, with soft transitions and clear pockets that shimmer like light on water.
I wanted to capture that feeling of calm warmth, the quiet beauty of a late‑summer evening. This star brings that glow indoors, offering a little piece of sunset to hang in a window all year round.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This hand crafted stained glass star is made from five pieces of beautifully translucent, dense clear glass infused with rich orangey pink hues — true sunset colours that glow warmly when placed near fairy lights, Christmas lights, or a bright window. The natural variations in the glass create shifting tones that look different throughout the day, from soft peach to deep rose.
Each piece is edged with copper foil and soldered using the traditional Tiffany method, creating a delicate yet durable finish. The star measures approximately 12 cm high by 10.5 cm wide, including the hanging hook.
Please note: one point of the star contains a small crack within the glass. It does not detract from the overall look or function of the piece, but the price has been adjusted to reflect this imperfection.
Craft glass naturally contains tiny variations and characterful textures, making every star completely unique. Colours have been photographed as faithfully as possible, though they may shift slightly depending on your screen and lighting.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.

Postage cost is for second class, .large letter, tracked delivery. Unused postage costs will be returned.
