This colourway was inspired by the glow of early morning skies — that moment when the world feels warm and full of promise. I loved exploring how translucent reds, oranges and yellows blend together when the sun catches them, creating a little burst of sunrise you can keep indoors.

Full description
This stained glass hot air balloon is crafted from vibrant translucent glass in red, orange and yellow stripes, creating a warm sunrise effect when the light shines through. The basket is made from deep midnight blue glass and attached securely with hand shaped wire.
The finished piece measures approximately 19 cm in height and 11 cm in width, including the hanging hook.
Each section of glass is individually cut, foiled, soldered and cleaned by hand. Craft glass naturally contains small variations, textures and character marks that make every balloon completely unique. Colours have been photographed as faithfully as possible, though they may appear slightly different in various lighting conditions. Other colour combinations are available in separate listings.
This balloon is one of my earlier makes. The soldering is fully secure but not as refined as my current work, and this is reflected in the sale price.
Please display your glass in a safe location. If dropped, it may break. This item is decorative and not suitable for children.
