Handwoven shawl in hand spun Alpaca yarn with a hint of sparkle.
The Alpaca was bred in Scotland and called Heinrich. he was toffee coloured with an off white underbelly. I dyed some of this fleece with cochineal. The sparkle is a synthetic boucle yarn in a silvery bronze. The yarn was spun very soft and light.
The shawl has been woven in an open plain weave.
Measurements. 78" x12" with a 4" fringe.
Can be worn in a myriad of ways. statement piece.
Wash by hand with warm soapy water. Dry flat. Do not wring or spin. Do not iron.
