Each piece of jewellery is individually handmade by me in my Wiltshire workshop and is presented in a reusable cotton gift bag or recyclable gift box (see individual items for details). All orders are shipped within 3 days of payment and posted via Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 postal service.
If your purchase is a gift and you would like me to include a hand-written note to the recipient, simply write your message in the ‘Note to seller’ box at the checkout.

The beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire, West Wales. I love the intricate texture of shells, finding them calming to turn over in my hands. This inspired me to create tiny replicas in silver, as a wearable reminder of being by the sea.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This silver clam shell necklace was created by taking an impression of a real seashell that I found whilst walking along a beautiful beach in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
It has been handcrafted using precious metal clay (a material made from recycled fine silver particles, binder, and water). When fired, the binder burns away, leaving solid fine silver.
Polished to a high shine to allow the clam shell's delicate grooved texture to sparkle, this simple silver pendant would make a special gift for anyone who loves to be by the sea.
MATERIALS & MEASUREMENTS
- Recycled fine silver shell pendant: 23mm across x 18mm tall.
- Recycled sterling silver trace chain with bolt clasp fastening: 45cm / 18 inches long.
POSTAGE & PACKAGING
This necklace will be carefully tissue-wrapped and presented in a recyclable gift box (with reusable insert). It will be shipped within 3 days of order via Royal Mail Tracked 24 postal service.

A NOTE ABOUT HALLMARKING
Under UK law, all silver items weighing over 7.78g must be hallmarked by one of the four UK assay offices. As this necklace falls under this weight, it is exempt and does not bear a hallmark.
