Full description
A lovely pice of textile art disguised as a needle case. This pretty needle book is made using strips of red and orange patterned silk fabric which has been needle felted onto a felt backing sheet. Woollen fibres have been added and needle felted into place to add further detail and to blend the silk strips together. Inside the needle case is lined with linen fabric and two pages to store your needles and pins inserted. Additionally, two small pockets have been added and filled with an emergency sewing kit and a needle threader. Silver coloured book corners have been added to protect the corners from wear and tear.
The small sewing kit contains various coloured threads, a needle, a couple of buttons and a safety pin.
The needle book measures approximately 8cm x 8cm square.
