This painting was inspired by my love of texture, pattern and layered colour. I wanted to create a piece where each square feels like its own small artwork, using stencils and raised textures to build depth and detail. The rich blues were chosen for their calming, ocean-like feel, while touches of metallic gold add warmth and light, catching the eye as it moves across the surface. The overall piece is about exploring pattern and texture while creating a balanced, contemporary abstract design.
