Fused Glass Floral Suncatcher for Mum, Birthday Present for Mum
I've created the floral decoration on this pretty, little 'Mum' suncatcher using various elements of transparent and opal glass giving it a unique image. I've used a streaky blue glass for the background which has it's own unique design ensuring that it is a one-off for a special Mum. I've capped the blue glass with clear glass to give it extra depth.
It's been designed and created by me before being fired in my kiln for about eight and a half hours, then left to cool naturally in the kiln overnight to prevent the glass cracking.
I've attached a metal bail to the suncatcher along with a ribbon to hang it by so that it can be displayed in a window or against a wall .
The suncatcher alone measures approx. 5cm wide by 10cm tall excluding the ribbon.
