These hearts began as a way to capture a small moment of colour and kindness in glass. Choosing the glass is one of the most enjoyable parts of the process: each sheet has its own swirls, textures and tiny imperfections that make the finished heart feel alive when the light shines through it. The simple shape lets the colour speak for itself, and the Tiffany method gives each curve a soft, handmade warmth.
I love making these because they feel like little messages — a quiet reminder of love, care or encouragement that can hang anywhere in the home. Each one is crafted slowly and mindfully, becoming a small piece of light to share with someone special.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This listing is for one stained glass heart, made by hand and available in a choice of colours from the drop down menu. The finished piece, including the hook, measures around 4.5 cm in height and 4 cm in width. Each heart has its own slight variations in colour and texture, so there may be small differences from the photographs shown.
Every heart is created using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Each piece of glass is hand cut, edged with copper foil, soldered, cleaned and sometimes finished with patina. Craft glass naturally contains tiny textures and patterns, making every heart completely original. The photographs show the colours as faithfully as possible.
This little heart looks lovely in a window, on a shelf, or hanging from a hook where it can catch the light. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone who loves colour, a small token of support or friendship, or a bright decoration for a creative space, office or bedroom
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
