These mushrooms were made simply for the joy of it — a celebration of colour, light, and the small wonders found in nature. The fiery orange cap was chosen for its warmth and energy, echoing autumn leaves, glowing embers, and the quiet magic of woodland paths. Turning these natural forms into stained glass felt like capturing a fleeting moment of brightness and holding it still. Each mushroom is a reminder to pause, notice, and enjoy the tiny sparks of delight in everyday spaces.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
This listing is for one stained glass mushroom, crafted using richly coloured art glass. The cap is made from an opaque, streaky, firey orange glass, while the underside features a transparent glass with soft white and orange streaks, giving the gills a gentle glow when light passes through. Two hanging loops are secured on the reverse, and it is recommended that the mushroom is hung using both loops for stability.
The piece is approximately 12.5 cm tall and 9.5 cm wide. Other colours are available; please see the final photograph and related listings for the full range.
Each mushroom is hand cut and crafted using the Tiffany foiled glass method. Every piece of glass is edged with copper foil, soldered, and cleaned. Craft glass naturally contains small variations and tiny imperfections, making every mushroom a unique original. The photographs show the colours as faithfully as possible, though stained glass always shifts a little with the changing light.
These mushrooms can be used as suncatchers, hung on a wall, added to a seasonal display, or incorporated into a woodland themed arrangement. Their warm tones and playful shape make them a versatile accent for any cosy corner.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
