The inspiration for this design comes from the clarity and optimism associated with the rainbow symbol. The seven colours are arranged to create a clean, uninterrupted spectrum, while the textured clear glass adds light movement without distracting from the colour. The intention is a thoughtfully made object that stands well as a decorative piece but also carries a quiet message of pride, solidarity and the value of individuality.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A hand crafted stained glass seven point rainbow star made from seven individual colour sections, each representing one of the rainbow hues, set alongside textured and iridescent clear glass. The combination creates a balanced, bright piece that shows strong colour when lit from behind and casts a vivid rainbow shadow when the light catches it.
The star has two hooks for hanging, and both are intended to be used to keep the piece level and secure. It measures approximately 14 cm at its widest point.
This star is often chosen as a simple celebration of colour, but it also carries a quiet connection to Pride and the LGBTQ plus community, reflecting themes of visibility, inclusion and the beauty of diversity.
Each star is cut and shaped by hand using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Every piece of glass is edged with copper foil, soldered, and cleaned. Craft glass naturally contains small variations and character marks which make every star unique, and the colours shown in the photographs have been captured as accurately as possible.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
