About this item
This seasonal baby owl measures 8" (20cm) from his talons to the top of his head. Snowy owls have a dense covering of layers to withstand temperatures as low as -40 degrees. My little owl is knitted in white alpaca yarn and mohair. His wings in a faux fur yarn. All his black markers are embroidered on completion. He is filled with a heavy stuffing to give him a good balance weight. He stands on his impressive talons which are secured well but allow movement for positioning. My little owl is designed to stand in a typical owl manner when looking for prey with those impressive large round eyes. Made by me based on a design by Claire Garland a designer who specialises on creating wonderful realistic animals. PLEASE NOTE This knitted animal is not a toy and intended for adults or for display. The yarn used is not suitable for babies or children under 14 and contains small parts.
