Christmas Decoration Festive Pixie - hanging felt and fabric ornament

Festive pixie decorations - these little fairies certainly like a good party! Made with a cute print fabric, complete with a little magic glitter, appliqued onto green and red wool felt. A fun little hanging ornament that would be a fabulous Secret Santa gift or stocking filler. Or why not buy it for yourself to decorate your tree. Sent wrapped in tissue in a sturdy cardboard box, the ornament is ideal for gifting by post. Part of my zero waste approach to crafting, I fussy cut the little pixies and fairies from offcuts of the quilting cotton print I use to make Christmas stockings. I've paired it up with two layers of bright wool felt - blanket stitch machining each figure to a green layer, before sewing it to the red. A silky twisted cord has been securely stitched beteween the layers to form a hanging loop. The red felt is made by hand in Nepal, and is thicker than standard felt - giving the decoration a robust shape so it hangs nicely. Size: approx 2 inches by 3.5 inches (5cm by 8.5cm).
