Dragon matching - this fun pairs memory game is perfect for playing at home or taking on your travels, as the fabric and felt tiles store safely away in a little pouch that will fit easily in your bag. With large 3.5-inch squares that are easy to handle, this would be a lovely Christmas or birthday gift for preschoolers, but I think older kids will want to play with it too. Pairs, a traditional game, develops short-term memory, observation and attention skills, as a child turns over one square at a time and tries to remember where they saw the matching image. 16 squares in total, made up of 8 pairs of dragon-themed images. Each image is fussy-cut from quality quilting cotton fabric and securely sewn to bright wool felt, before being stitched to a marl wool felt backing. At the easiest level, all the tiles can be placed face up, and the child is encouraged to try and spot something specific - perhaps the dragon flying over the castle turrets. The most difficult level would be all 16 tiles placed face down, in a random order, using memory to find exact matches. Easy-to-use instructions will be emailed after ordering. The drawstring storage bag is made from quilting cotton and is fully lined. Approx 7 by 5 inches (18 by 13 cm).
