I came across this biscuit-themed fabric and couldn’t resist it. As a quilter, I’m always drawn to prints that tell a story, and these reminded me of tea breaks, British favourites and cosy afternoons. The idea of turning them into quilted coasters felt like the perfect way to showcase the designs.

Bring some playful charm to tea time with this handmade set of four quilted coasters and a matching larger mug rug, all made in fun biscuit-print cotton and finished with soft pink binding.
Each of the four coasters features a different classic biscuit, while the larger matching mat brings the whole collection together. At 20cm square, the larger piece has plenty of room for a mug and a biscuit, or can be used underneath a small teapot or cafetiere.
Each piece is lightly padded and quilted for structure and to help protect your surfaces, then neatly finished with pink binding and hand stitching.
The reverse is finished in coordinating contrasting cotton fabrics, with blue/white spots on the larger mug rug and a playful neutral print on the four coasters.
