"Gold vermeil refers to jewelley made with only base metals of sterling silver with gold overlay bonding.
Tanzanite jewellery can be expensive, especially made with high-quality, deep-blue stones, though prices vary significantly based on quality, size, and other factors. Its high cost is due to its extreme rarity, as it is only found in one location in the world near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. All tanzanite mines have now closed which has increased the value significally over recent years.
The last photograph shows poor ungraded tanzanite which is currently widely availability to purchase in all cuts. However, it's can be over priced!

This gorgeous dainty necklace is a prime example of quality genuine tanzanite. It has been designed and hand crafted in Cornwall by Demelza Designs for those seeking something that can be worn on a daily bases with the potential to become a piece of jewellers passed down within a family.
The tanzanite free faceted rondelle cut gemstones slowly graduate in size from front to back. In the centre is a 5mm Swarovski branded crystal ball bead with gold vermeil flower daisy and 3mm spacer beads to either side. This necklace would make a beautiful gift for a bride to be or for a loved one whom has always desired a tanzanite necklace.
The finished necklace length is 17" inches. The minimum gemstone weight is 45cts.
For the main construction professional coated stainless steel jewellers wire has been used for added strength and lasting durability, finished off with a 5mm gold vermeil lobster clasp, connector ring and crimp covers.
This item is ready to be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail 48-hour tracking service. It will come presented wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside a luxury cloth lined jewellery pouch.
