Reindeer, dotpebblesknits design, Knitted Reindeer

It would not be Christmas with seeing a glimpse of at least one reindeer. This reindeer measures 8" (20cm) from his nose to his white furry tail and 8 " from hoof to tip of his very impressive antlers. He is knitted throughout in a velvet velour yarn to give him his reindeer colour and brushed to raise the pile. His legs and antlers are wired so there is some movement for positioning. The antlers are securely wrapped with a brushed yarn to create a similar texture to the velvet feel of real reindeer antlers. His body is filled with a heavy fibre fill so he is well balanced and will last for many Christmases. Whilst my reindeer doesn't have a red nose he does have a red band with two gold bells. Made by me based on a design by Claire Garland a designer who specialises in creating wonderful realistic animals. PLEASE NOTE This is not a toy and intended for adults or for display. The yarn used is not suitable for babies or children and may contain small parts.
