Every single scale has been individually sculpted by hand from clay, built up layer by layer onto canvas to create a truly three-dimensional piece of art that looks as though a dragon is peering right through your wall!
Each scale is painted and shaded by hand, with darker tones worked into the crevices to give the piece real depth and an almost lifelike, leathery hide effect. No two scales are quite the same - just as nature (or a dragon!) intended.
