I was looking at morse code one day, I can't remember why but it is fascinating, and I was inspired to make theses morse code buttons. The black is applied onto the white clay background, a bit like piping, which means the design is raised and feels very textural. They are an oval white button finished in a shiny clear glaze. They have a metal shank back. The metal will not rust.

I was looking at morse code one day, I can't remember why but it is fascinating, and I was inspired to make theses morse code buttons. The black is applied onto the white clay background, a bit like piping, which means the design is raised and feels very textural. They are an oval white button finished in a shiny clear glaze. They have a metal shank back. The metal will not rust. A set of 5 handmade black and white earthenware ceramic buttons in an oval shape finished in a transparent crackle glaze. Perfect to finish of a special garment or yarncraft project.
Perfect to adorn any yarncraft project.
25mm by 19cms diameter.
Approx 4mm thick, excluding metal shank, which is another 4mms (approx).
These are handmade, handpainted and decorated and fired by me in my workshop at home.
Handwash only recommended.
