Full description
I was inspired to glass paint this candle holder by intricate Hindi tattoo designs and symmetry and evenness of lines were harder to achieve than I expected!
The candleholder is painted on a barrel tumble glass and covered with layers of transparent varnish for protection. The background graduate from purple on the bottom through pint to bottle green on the top on bottom and top there are golden liner Hindi patterns.
This piece could be used as a tea light lantern to cast a colourful shadow around or as a standing sun catcher to retain light on sunny days. It would add some hygge to your cosy home decor! It's a great birthday gift for anyone loving travel and Indian culture but also a good choice as housewarming gift to add an oriental twist to a home decoration.
It will arrive to you double boxed. Inner box will be covered in hand- marbled paper with my logo and the cut out window to show the glass inside. In between boxes and inside the glass
I will pack as much of bubble foil or other packing material as humanly possible. Both boxes and the packaging inside are made of recycled packaging in the name of sustainability.
All of the profit from the sale ( take folksy.promission fee, postage and 1 pound per item put away for future projects) will be donated to charity- either to support RSPCA, Cats Protection or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. See About to learn more
