HANDSPUN KNITTED MERINO HONEYCOMB HEADBAND I handspun three colours of merino wool into medium weight yarns. The main colour is grey with contrasting burgundy and turquoise blue. I then knitted this hairband, headband or earwarmer in a textured honeycomb stitch which gives a firm but stretchy fabric ideal for headbands. The edges gently roll under, giving a comfortable fit. All the fibres I used are high quality, soft, smooth and not itchy. This would make a lovely Mothers' Day gift. I can send direct to a recipient with gift wrap and message. The headband measures 3" (7.6cm) wide and the circumference is 19" (48.2cm) and will stretch easily to 21" (53.3cm).
