HANDSPUN KNITTED SHAWL, SCARF OR WRAP Measurements - the long sides each measure 37" (94cm) excluding the tassels the depth of the centre point is 11" (27.94) I blended some supersoft, merino wool in shades of emerald green, peacock blue and deep violet on my drumcarder, then I handspun this blend into a medium weight yarn. I also handspun some more merino wool in a deep 'royal purple'. I then used these two yarns to knit the shawl using the 'Domino' modular knitting technique. It is V-shaped which makes it very versatile and can be worn many ways. Please see all the photos. This item is truly unique as I blended the fibre and handspun the yarn and designed the wrap from scratch. It cannot be repeated exactly but I can make similar ones in different colours or sizes. Please feel free to contact me to discuss a custom order. Please be aware that different monitor screens can show colours differenlty.
