Full description
Each season in 2024, I'm making an extra special, limited edition heart.
In cheerful red and white gingham, the Winter Heart encapsulates a bright snowy morning, with a broad ribbon band featuring red snow-capped berries on bare branches. For extra winter sparkle - and as nod to the festive season - the edges of the ribbon are interwoven with a little silver glitter thread.
Each heart is generously filled with fragrant Hampshire lavender and is hand finished with red hemp twine hanging ties and a round wooden button.
Tie onto kitchen dresser hooks, coat pegs, window latches, bedposts and doorknobs. Nestle in clothes drawers and wardrobes (lavender is reputed to deter moths). Baskets and jugs, picture frame corners ... just a few places in which to add a decorative Winter Heart ... Or save it for Christmas!
